“Nairit Plant” CJSC workers are paid wages

  As the "Armenpress" news agency reports, at today's session of the government of the RA it was decided to continue paying wages for 2018 to 121 employees of "Nairit Plant" CJSC, who are working in the technological system, the system of safe storage of chemicals and safe use of equipment, allocating for this aim 177 million 342.3 thousand drams.
  In justification of the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia it is noted that according to the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia from February 23 and July 13, 2017, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia was allocated 76 million 407.7 thousand and 86 million 777.7 thousand drams respectively from the reserve fund of the government. In connection with the change in tax   legislation from January 1, 2018, this amount also includes the amount of VAT.
  It should be noted that this activity of the government is continuous.
  Hrach Tadevosyan, chairman of the trade union committee of “Nairit Plant” CJSC, in his conversation with the PR department of the CTUA said that the government acted in the interests of plant workers, which increased their confidence in the government. Workers hope that the enterprise will be restarted, because, in their opinion, the plant, first of all, is a national treasure.
  Representatives of the holding company Europe-Asia Business-Financial Center, who expressed their readiness to invest in Nairit, recently met with government officials. At the end of the meeting, they said that after the ongoing audit at the plant, the possibility of re-commissioning is great.
