On 13 May 2015 Chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia E.Tumasyan had a meeting with Executive Director of the European Trade Union Committee for Education (ETUCE) Martin Romer.
Mr.Romer arrived in Yerevan to take part in the 4-th Bologna Policy Forum, which will take place on May 14-15. He briefly presented the issues and challenges of the European educational structure, which includes 131 trade union organizations from 48 countries, noting the importance of continuing and ensuring future cooperation with the trade unions of the education system in Armenia.
CTUA Chairman E.Tumasyan presented the structure of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia, told about its programs and challenges. Issues of the CTUA membership in the International Trade Union Confederation, of reorganization in the CPA, the necessity of enlargement of branch republican union of trade union organizations of education and science workers were also discussed.
The meeting was attended by the chairman of the branch republican union of trade union organizations of education and science workers G.Garibyan and head of Educational - research center of the CTUA, the chairman of the branch republican union of trade union organizations of universities workers G.Vagharshakyan.
