IV Congress of the Republican Branch Association “Electrotradeunion” of the trade union organizations of Armenia
The Republican Branch Association “Electrotradeunion” of the trade union organizations of Armenia held its IV Congress in Yerevan 21 October 2016.
The Congress heard the report presented by the chairman of the Branch association K.Aloyan. She informed the participants about activities in the period between III and IV congresses highlighting the assistance provided by the union to its member organizations in the issues of protecting the rights and interests of workers, in concluding collective agreements. "The experience of concluding collective agreements, based on the principles of social partnership, once again demonstrates the fact that many problems can be solved more effectively if the parties of the employment relationships are originally inclined to cooperate," - said K.Aloyan.
The appeal of the chairman of the Trade Unions International "Electroprofsoyuz" V.I.Bondarev was read at the congress.
The Chairman of the Association’s Audit Committee M. Manukyan presented the report. The deputy chairman of the trade union organization of CJSC "High-Voltage Network" V.Muradyan, a member of the trade union committee of CJSC "Armenian NPP" A.Baghdasaryan, the chairman of the trade union organization of CJSC "Electric Networks of Armenia" A.Muradyan also spoke at the congress.
The member of the trade union committee of CJSC "Armenian NPP" A. Baghdasaryan spoke about the trade union organization activities, made a number of proposals emphasizing the need of introducing the compulsory insurance system against accidents at work.
The Congress was attended by the chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia E.Tumasyan and deputy chairman of the CTUA Kh.Arakelyan. In his speech E.Tumasyan referred to the active work of the Branch Association "Electrotradeunion", especially in the issues of protection the rights and interests of workers, which transformed this association into an efficient and successful structure.
The Congress by open voting unanimously re-elected Karine Aloyan chairman of the Republican Branch Association “Electrotradeunion” of the trade union organizations of Armenia. The congress approved the main directions of the Association's activities on 2016-2021, the structure of the Audit Commission and elected governing bodies.
