The Meeting in the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia
On 31 May 2016 the President of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia Eduard Tumasyan hosted a delegation from the Chelyabinsk regional branch of the mining and metallurgical trade union of Russia, headed by the chairman of the Chelyabinsk Regional Trade Union Committee of mining industry Y.Goranov. The delegation also included the chairman of the trade union group MMK A.Derunov, chairman of the trade union committee of the Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant V.Skryabin and the specialist of the Regional Committee. V.Nechaev.
During the meeting the parties spoke about their activities, in particular, touched upon the relations with employers, collective bargaining, wage indexation, the possibilities of signing agreements on cooperation, the exchange of experience.
Y.A.Goranov noted that for the Chelyabinsk Regional Committee of the mining and metallurgical trade union the year of 2016 is a jubilee year, as they are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the trade union organization’s foundation. He invited the President of the CTUA E.Tumasyan to take part in the anniversary celebrations.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairmen of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia B.Kharatyan and H.Arakelyan, the chairman of the Republican branch union of trade union organization of miners, metallurgists and jewelers of Armenia E.Pahlevanyan.
