On 9 May 2015., he day of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Victory Park to pay tribute to the millions of victims of this war.
On the same day the 23rd anniversary of the liberation of Shushi is celebrated.
